A Teaser

Just found this on YouTube and I wanted to share:

Slings & Arrows <-- This is the first 10 minutes of the first episode of the series, and IMHO, is more than enough to get you hooked.

I *love* this show, for so many reasons, I don't know where to start.

Okay, I'll start with the leading actor Paul Gross. He is amazingly talented and skilled as an actor, as you will see in the clip above during "The Storm". In later episodes, his character is haunted by a ghost that talks to him incessantly and at the most inappropriate times, no one can see or hear the ghost except him, and Gross plays it hilariously and brilliantly with his toes right up against the line of insanity.

This show is a hilarious comedy and a touching human drama. Each of the characters is unique and flawed and has some sort journey to take throughout the series.
It is an actor's show. I have learned so much about acting from watching this show, and as an actor I can appreciate what the characters are going through.
It is a theatre-lover's show (both theatre actors and theatre-goers.) It is a Shakespeare-lover's show. I have learned so much about performing Shakespeare from watching this show. (Not that I'm still not scared to death to actually be in a Shakespeare play.)
I *love* everything about this show. I hope I get all of you hooked on it as well! =)
